Nita Sebastian, Hrvoje Tkalčić, Christian Sippl, Seongryong Kim, Anya M. Reading, Youlin Chen, Fabrice R. Fontaine

Representative figure

Four maps compare crustal thickness and uncertainty beneath Northeast China from Bayesian inversion and H-kappa stacking.

Crust is ≤32 km beneath the craton and Songliao Basin and 35–40 km beneath the orogen and Changbaishan; Vp/Vs is ~1.65 at Changbaishan and mostly >1.75 elsewhere.
